Online MSW Degree?

Hello all,

Its been a long time. Life has been crazy for me, but I am focusing on the next academic chapter of my goals.

I am looking into online accredited MSW degree programs. I'm familiar with Florida State University (which only allows students to do a distance degree they offer when you live within the state - absurd). I've not found any other programs, and I'm not sure where to look. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Shawn

Hi Shawn,

Welcome back!

I believe that The University of North Dakota has a program that is right up your alley:

http://www.conted.und.edu/ddp/msw/index.html

A BSW is not required for the above program (although you will be required to take some leveling courses). Check out the website for details.

Good luck!

On Persistence
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

Talking Re:

Hey Tom,

Yeah...I've not been on here actively for over a year. Thanks for the feedback on this program. I will look into them more deeply. Any idea if they are extremely competitive, (given they are an online program)?

I thought I remember that Monash University in Melbourne had some courses that might be worth a look. Here is the address:

Monash is completely accredited. It is also regarded as one of Australia's leading universities.
